I've slowly but surely been taking one course at a time through BYU's Independent Study program in an attempt to someday attain my Bachelors Degree. This past year has seen it's distractions, but I'm still pushing on. I signed up to take Humanities 201 on October 4, 2008. Classes expire one year after registering. So two weeks ago I dusted off my syllabus and cracked open my Norton's Anthology of Western Literature and haven't looked up since! Nap times reading history, late nights writing papers, taking advantage of my gym memberships' child watch program to find a quite corner of the workout room to study in, have all been a major part of my daily routine as of late. But tonight, I just submitted the last of my portfolio assignments, and can now request the final exam to be mailed to the nearest Sylvan Learning Center, where I will complete my course in the nick of time!
Things haven't changed much since college.
