Gone With the Wind!

We took a quick weekend trip to Arkansas and had a great relaxing time with Craig's parents. Today we all went the Old Mill in Little Rock. Picturesque! The opening scene of Gone With the Wind was filmed here in 1939! The kids loved running around and looking at the ducks. Just beautiful.

More Sharps Move to Collierville

We're so excited that Craig's brother Brian and his wife Crissy and their little daughter Addison are moving to Collierville! They arrived August 30th and have been living with us while they house hunted. They found a great home with a pool (yeah!), about 3 miles from us. They close tonight and move in this weekend. We're so excited to have them here and for the cousins to live so close and grow up together. Tolan and Addie are already best buddies, and we'll miss having them in the house to play together every day.
Welcome to Collierville Brian and Crissy!!

A Word on Procrastination

I've slowly but surely been taking one course at a time through BYU's Independent Study program in an attempt to someday attain my Bachelors Degree. This past year has seen it's distractions, but I'm still pushing on. I signed up to take Humanities 201 on October 4, 2008. Classes expire one year after registering. So two weeks ago I dusted off my syllabus and cracked open my Norton's Anthology of Western Literature and haven't looked up since! Nap times reading history, late nights writing papers, taking advantage of my gym memberships' child watch program to find a quite corner of the workout room to study in, have all been a major part of my daily routine as of late. But tonight, I just submitted the last of my portfolio assignments, and can now request the final exam to be mailed to the nearest Sylvan Learning Center, where I will complete my course in the nick of time!
Things haven't changed much since college.
