48 hours later -- we've determined that Alana must have just been targeted by a bunch of bugs. No fever, and the spots are almost gone! What a relief to us all!
I wish I would've seen the pictures earlier. I could've told you they weren't chicken pox. (See Brennan's pictures...they blister) I'm surprised the doc didn't know that. AND, with that many, she would have definitely had a fever. Sorry about the scare though. That stinnks.
Some of these things our children get seem quite mysterious...Lexi has had several odd "rashes" that the dr.'s haven't been able to determine exactly what they were the result of...glad Alana didn't get a fever/feel bad with it...chicken pox would not have been fun to have...I had them when I was a senior in college ...it was a mess , to say the least...I am amazed with how similiar Jared and Alana look as far as facial features !! Glad to see you out and around in the neighborhood..you look great !! love these blogs !! Jessica
It's been a long time since I've left a message, but you have certainly been in our thoughts and prayers. I am so glad you are done with your chemo. Won't it be nice to "get your life back"? We were sure grateful to have chemo behind us. Just when you think it's going on forever - it's over. We are very grateful things have gone as well as they have for you. Evidence of the many people who love you and pray for you! I'm also glad you dodged the chicken pox this time. You of all people don't need to be exposed to that!! Take care. We love you!

So glad they were just bug bites. Thanks again for last night. I had a great time getting out and doing "girly" stuff. Thanks for your friendship.
