School Starts Tomorrow!

For as hard as this treatment was on me last week, it sure didn't continue to this week. I feel great! Craig went in to work at 1:30 all last week to cover the night managers' shift. It was so nice having him home in the mornings. We got a babysitter on Thursday and Friday so we could go out to lunch and enjoy some 'child-free' time together. Tolan has been sleeping well in the afternoons which gives me a nice break and about an hour to nap myself! I still have to remind myself to be careful, though, with that supressed immune system thing.

The boys start school tomorrow!!! We have an armchair full of school supplies we'll go through this evening and pack them all up. Bryce is excited to be in 7th grade and in the same homeroom as his friend Quinten. He opted not to continue the trombone this year, but is interested instead in taking guitar lessons. I took a semester in college and would love to pick it back up and take lessons with him. We're looking into that....
Jared couldn't be happier that he's starting 4th grade and that his best buddy, Matteo, will be in his class.
Alana will be making her preschool debut this year, starting September 2nd. Yeah!!!

Cheri,
So good to see you at the bus stop this morning. Tolan has grown and was working so hard to hold his head up... what a beautiful baby! Let's hope all the kids have a great first day back - Grace was nervous this morning, but Jared's t-shirt made her smile! We're looking forward to preschool, and Rose and Will can't wait for Alana to ride with us. I am sad that these recent treatments have been so difficult; you are in my thoughts each day.

School already! I am not that lucky...we start the first week of September, but we also end the second or third week of June. My Sophia starts Preschool. It will be fun to have 4 hours a week to myself. Anyhow, I am glad all is well. Tolan is looking so yummy! He is so beautiful!

Love the first day of school picture! We're trying to enjoy our last week of summer. The kids go back on the 25th.

Funny to hear Bryce wants to take guitar lessons. Jordan got a guitar for his birthday and started lessons this month! Give them a few months, and they can have a jam session when you come to NC for your next visit. =)
