Had an ultrasound appointment this morning to see how the baby has faired these last two weeks of my surgery and chemo. He's looking good! He weighs about 3 pounds 1 ounce, and all systems are functioning well.
The doctor has scheduled me for a c-section on May 19th at the Germantown Methodist Hospital assuming all continues to go smoothly.
I'm still feeling good -- just continue to be tired. Thanks so much, Angela, for watching Alana today!

I'm so glad to hear that your baby is doing great. It's so fun to see them in the ultrasound--it makes me just want to hold and squeeze them. I'm glad, also, that you had help with Alana today. We love you and are praying for you so much.
Love,
Jaylyn
I marvel at your strength. Each time I talk with you, you are so calm and I can see you have great faith. You are an inspiration to me!
i'm glad all is good- ultrasounds are always so amazing. by the way, your hair looks great- the craziest thing is when your in the shower right after a new haircut and you can't figure out what to do with all the extra shampoo that you've poured into your hand.

Glad to hear the ultrasound showed a strong and growing baby boy . That date in May will be here before you know it !! I love the picture you posted of the children after their "hunt"...they were so funny beating on the door to get out!!! Thinking of it brings me a smile ...This blogspot is perfect !! I am so glad you keep all of us updated ...we think of you often ...next time you see me, remind me to share with you Jeff's suggestion for a baby name ..it is a hoot !! Only he would have come up with this one...Jeff says it would sound " sooo gooood" coming over a loudspeaker at a sporting event !!
Love Jessica
Love the haircut! Call me anytime you need to rest and I'd be glad to take Alayna for ya. Kristen
Glad things are going well. Like Joann said I too am amazed at how calm and collect you seem. We could all learn a thing or two from you.
