Movie Night

Tonight our family went to see the movie, "Horton Hears a Who". Cute movie! Alana did great... till the popcorn ran out. She's all about the food. Thank goodness Jared still had some corn chips - it got her by for the rest of the show.
My oncologist's secretary called this afternoon to make sure my surgeries went well on Friday. As soon as they get the results of the biopsy (which should be tomorrow), they'll schedule my chemotherapy. She said it will most likely be set for Thursday. I'm a bit nervous, but ready to get this thing gone.

Hey - we went to see that today too. I really think abe and alana should get married some day. he's all about the food. He ate up his popcorn, a big bag of fruit snacks, raisins, and then a bunch of water... which led to going potty near the end. Happy family night!

You are AMAZING! I have always admired and loved your family but YOU ARE TRULY A GIFT FROM GOD. I am blessed to work in a place where we can share our lives and the needs of those close to us. Know that you are being prayed for and good positive vibes (it's a California thang!) are being sent your way. Blessings on you, Craig and the kiddos from Santa Barbara. Take care of yourself and thanks for the blog updates. As someone else mentioned, it helps a lot for those of us far away to stay in touch without bugging you. I look forward to seeing you in 2010 in North Carolina. It may seem like a long time away but just think you'll be past all of this, the baby will be 2 years old, i'll be 50 something... okay we won't go there. Oh no what are we going to do in the Talent Show? Anne keeps mentioning in emails that we (this part of the clan) must participate at the next reunion. Can't we just hire someone? I'll be happy to pay Clay to do a song on my behalf. Okay back to you. Like I said, take care of yourself. You are always in my prayers. Love you, Lisa

glad to hear you liked the movie. we'll have to take lucy, with plenty of snacks of course. also glad to hear that you're doing well enough to enjoy a movie. and about your surgery blog can i just ask, why is it so hard to find a vein in us redheads? (has sandy told you her birth story with penelope?). seriously though, you can just look at my arm and see where the veins are. i don't get it, but am so glad that it went well for you. love you and still praying for you all.

I think we may try this one out today. Like Alana, we just feed Ryleigh's face until she can't handle it anymore. It definitely keeps her quiet though. I hope you hear some encouraging news today from the Doc. I'll check in later.

Cheri,
I am so glad to have access to the blog and all your updates. We have been so worried and praying for you. I know the Lord will watch over your precious family. Please know that, even though we are in "the other ward", we are just around the corner and want to help in any way you need. We love and admire you so much - you always have been such an example to us and are so even more now. Hang tough! Good luck with your chemo. Our family has had experience with that and we agree chemo stinks, but it can work wonders. Remember that you are loved, admired, missed, and prayed for in a HUGE way. Lots of love to you and your family.
