MUGA scan done!

Just got back from the hospital after doing the heart scan. Not bad! They drew some blood, made it radioactive, and injected it back in me. Then I laid on a machine and waited while it took pictures of my heart every so many beats, for about a half hour. I immediatley fell asleep, but they said that my sleeping heart rate would make the test go longer so I should try to stay awake. (darn - I was looking forward to a little nap!) I don't get the results 'till my chemo appointment on Wednesday.
My kids loved playing at the Tilley's while I was at the hospital. Jared played Rock Band with Austin and Mikell, and Diva-Alana loved the kareoke microphone. Thanks Breana!

Yikes, that machine looks a little scary. I hope your test reading is all positive news. Thanks for the update.

Cheri,
It is so great to see your smile in these pictures...I know that you are thankful to be feeling strong so much of the time...I wasn't very good with all the middle of the night stuff with an infant !! The pics of Tolan and all the kids are so adorable. I know the immunization day with Tolan had to be tough...it still makes me cry when Lexi gets shots and she is 8 years old...your shots of Heber inspired us to head to the lake ...we are going to Pickwick this weekend for some boating, tubing and fishing fun...I hope that all of your test results are positive news and you can continue moving forward in this treatment process...you are part of our prayers each day...Lexi has added your name right in there with our family names in her prayers as well...I know that you have close friends helping out but know we are here if you need us ...
