Radiation!

I had my first radiation treatments Thursday and Friday evenings. Physically, they aren't bad at all. I can't feel the radiation or see it. I lay down on the table and the technicians position me just right, then leave the room while the radiation machine does its thing -- one minute from one direction, and one minute from the opposite direction. Then I get up and I'm on my way! Mentally, it's scary to think what exactly it's doing to me. But I try not to dwell on it too much right now. They say I won't feel the effects (tiredness and skin irritation) for a couple of weeks. 2 treatments down - 31 to go!
