The Gift of Breath

It becomes difficult to breathe in the last few weeks of pregnancy! Add to that stuffiness and congestion, and I feel I'm gasping for air. It certainly makes me appreciate something as simple as breathing!
I'm on the mend as far as my cold symptoms go. Still a bit stuffy, but feeling much better. Thank you to all those who helped me by taking Alana so I could rest, and for the meals brought this week.
Craig and I would much rather be the ones that offer help to others, than ask for help ourselves, but I think we're learning that there are times we really need others! We're so blessed to have so many friends.
Alana tripped on the sidewalk this week and after a visit to urgent care, she's wearing a brace for 'soft tissue damage' to the inside of her wrist. She's a bit dramatic about protecting it, but otherwise doing fine.
Hope you all have a happy Mothers Day weekend; and enjoy breathing!!!

Oh I hate that feeling of short breath during the last couple of weeks. I'm glad the stuffiness is going away.

Don't hesitate asking for help. That's what we're all here for, and so many people want to help you.

Happy Mother's Day!

Yes, I recall that breathing discomfort at the end of my pregnancy. Of course, I didn't havea toddler plus two other children to keep up with as well as congestion on top !!! The past couple of weeks seem to have had a lot of "extras" piled in there on you. I plan to call you this week and see what I can do to be of some help next week...I know it will be a wild one ...maybe some manicotti or something for the family ??? You may prefer to have it this week instead !! Your choice !!! Hope you enjoy the manicure pedicure on Friday....you need a couple of hours of indulgent personal time !! Love you and thinking of you !!Jessica
